Structures for growth
Over the last 10 years, my company has helped SMEs, unicorns, and a Fortune 500 company install new sales structures. In plain English, Vectorscape helps companies sell more.
The reason companies stop growing is nearly always the same: they have optimized for something other than growth. That's why I created The Revenue Sequence. It is an advisory program for boards and investors that need their €5M to €50M companies to grow. If you've experienced 12+ months of stalled revenue, an erosion of trust in leadership, and see clear room to increase revenue by at least €1M, this program is for you.
The program is simple. Our team works with yours to find the structural constraint to your company's ability to sell… Then we remove it.
Once a constraint is removed, you will see growth. In fact, several clients have experienced as much as a three- to five-fold increase in their revenue. In addition, participation may qualify your company for add-on services that take you further, beyond revenue.
Please feel free to send me a message directly if you have any questions after reviewing this page.

So, your revenue has stalled. You invested in a new company, but it hasn't seen an ounce of growth for months, if not years. Here's the harsh truth. Every organization is perfectly optimized for the results they’re getting.
If you recognize a pattern below, that's the first sign you are optimized for something other than growth. Your company could have a structural constraint.
Fixing a sales constraint is painful. The average company we engage with has been stalled for 18 months and already deployed €2M to €4M in capital trying to fix it. It’s not pretty. Stalled growth means monthly burn, compression of valuation multiples, and diminishing returns from capital deployments. A rule of thumb is that a single year of stalled growth means a 3x to 5x longer recovery.
It might surprise you to hear it from us, but traditional consulting is a major risk. Traditional consultants rarely try to change underlying structural issues. Or worse, they don’t address them at all.
If a service is designed to make you dependent on them, they will rack up billable hours and drain you of everything you’re worth. You will waste your money. It’s the reason these options never intend to prove their ROI, nor explain their process clearly from the start. Vectorscape offers an alternative.
During his M.Sc. in Engineering Biotechnology and subsequent MBA, Marcus Strömberg saw companies often lacked the internal structures needed for growth, but the only solutions available to them were vague and never-ending consulting engagements. To change that, he founded Vectorscape in 2014.
Since then, Vectorscape has served 5 startup-to-unicorn journeys, an incubator at one of the top 10 tech giants by revenue, seed-round startups, and scale-ups. For close to a decade, Marcus has successfully improved sales processes in industries around the world, including B2B/B2G SaaS, professional services, HealthTech, cybersecurity, genomics & multi-omics, FinTech, construction, entertainment, and sustainability. This is how he designed a new approach.

The Revenue Sequence is a time-bound and ROI-first advisory program to fix stalled growth. It helps boards and investors diagnose their company's failing sales structures, find the primary constraint, and remove it—all in six months.
Vectorscape offers a transparent alternative in a cloudy world of consulting. Every part of the program improves ROI transparency, and ensures your independence afterwards. For instance, there are three distinct stages to the program. After every stage, clients receive a comprehensive report to decide how to proceed.
First, our team diagnoses your organization to find the primary structural constraint stalling your company's growth. At the end of The Diagnostic, you receive a board decision framework, with a clear recommendation of whether to stop, fix, or scale.
If we recommend you to stop, it will be because we believe the constraint cannot be fixed with current leadership/board alignment. If no significant constraint is identified and we consider the system functional, we recommend deploying capital into growth. If a constraint is identified, structural, and fixable, we will recommend proceeding to phase 2.
Week 1 – 2:
Leadership interviews, data room review, board material analysis
Week 3 – 5:
Cross-function stakeholder interviews, system mapping, constraint hypothesis testing
Week 6 – 7:
Constraint identification, impact quantification, scenario modelling
Week 8:
Board presentation, constraint map, capital risk assessment, revenue baseline report
Duration: 4 – 8 weeks
Investment: €75,000 (excl. VAT)

Next, we fix the identified constraint over a six-month period. While we aren't able to guarantee specific results, you can expect to improve revenue during the engagement and long afterwards. Typical outcomes include increasing conversion rate by 40 – 80%, decreasing sales cycles by 30 – 50%, increasing forecast accuracy by 70 – 95%, and reducing revenue volatility. In a few cases, it resulted in a 5x to 10× ROI over the entire year.
This stage is tailored to fit your specific constraint, and the process differs from client to client. That said, here is a sample engagement:
Month 1:
The first month builds our foundation. We finalize a plan for constraint removal, which includes identifying quick wins and acting on them. During this time, we also confirm your baseline KPIs and install a new “operating cadence” for meetings and decision making.
Month 2 – 4:
The following months are dedicated to building your new system. We redesign sales processes, restructure roles, and align incentives differently e.g. via compensation. It also commonly includes implementing and reporting in new dashboards. If needed, it might feature leadership training.
Month 5 – 6:
We dedicate the latter months to ensure you are 100% independent. We may refine the system to ensure consistent or greater results, but our priority is a good transition and handover. We test team independence, complete documentation, and conclude with a final board presentation.
Note:
You are in control from month to month. If the system isn’t improving or the changes aren't working, we exit. To support your decision, you receive data every month to decide whether to proceed or not, including:
✓ Revenue KPIs tracked against baseline
✓ Overview of changes made
✓ Current ROI calculation
✓ Board-level update report
Duration: ~6 months
Investment: €50,000 per month (excl. VAT)

As revenue grows, new constraints emerge. If the board determines additional support is required during the company’s transition, Vectorscape can operate on an advisory retainer.
This is not a standard offering, but a time-bound and tailored phase. For this stage, the scope is agreed with the board before the engagement. A clear mandate and authority is defined, and compensation structure is negotiated separately. For more security, exit conditions and success metrics are also established upfront. Common deployments include:
Interim CEO:
Full executive authority for a defined period (typically 6 – 12 months) to implement the system redesign and stabilize operations.
Operating Leadership:
COO/CCO-level authority to redesign commercial and operational functions while working alongside the existing CEO.
Strategic Advisor:
Board-level advisor with decision rights on specific operating dimensions.
Alternative programs:
Engagement of partner network for constraints in product development, commercial enablement, and GTM, or full innovation consulting through The Innovation Sequence.
Duration: Tailored
Investment: By agreement

If The Revenue Sequence sounds right for your company, book your Executive Call and let's talk about whether engagement makes sense.
Transparency is our priority. Upfront payment ensures 100% honest, unbiased feedback. Plus, ROI metrics and NDA confidentiality give clients a peace of mind they rarely have experienced during a consulting engagement.
Finally, a sense of structure
Past clients often describe their sales transformation with Vectorscape as a move from messy sales processes to a clear sense of structure. It’s a huge relief for them, and we know it will be for you too.
The results don't stop
Unlike other options, you won’t be dependent on Vectorscape afterwards. You will have a new sales system that you know how to operate. Your staff will have a deep understanding of why it works. And you will get a structured playbook to train new hires. This ensures you are fully independent after the program's end.
Clear ROI every step of the way
Vectorscape is known to never hide behind jargon and obscurity, nor shy away from the numbers. No matter how ugly. If the results aren’t there, you will know exactly why. With that said, we have full faith in our ability to deliver a return. In fact, we regularly outperform expectations.
Internal and external NDA available
At many high-profile companies, it can be difficult to talk about what's not working. Others prefer not to disclose external sales support. For these reasons, Vectorscape provides professional-grade NDAs as an option to all clients. The NDAs can create confidentiality for the entire organization, but also within the organization. What one executive shares with Vectorscape will not be shared internally, if stated. Many clients have benefitted from this advisor-client confidentiality due to the high levels of trust it creates.
Peace of mind
If at any point the improvements are not satisfactory to you, you can always choose at the end of each month: pivot or cancel the program entirely. Over the course of the program, you get all the numbers you need to confidently make this decision on your own. With the Revenue Sequence, you’re in control, and it's important to us that you know this from the start.
The Revenue Sequence sets you up for future success in several ways. First, you will be able to operate entirely independently. Second, all your data can be quickly repurposed, giving you a fast-track to valuable follow-ups.

Answering common questions about Vectorscape.
How would you describe the ideal Vectorscape client?
Is a CEO, board member, or investor of a business with €5M to €50M in revenue, and sees an opportunity to grow revenue by at least €1M+
Is facing a situation where they have not met their revenue goals, and are unsure about how to solve the problem
Has the authority (and is willing) to redesign systems within the business
Is willing to give Vectorscape authority to redesign systems with the understanding that ending the engagement is possible if results aren’t to your satisfaction
Has no hesitation about the fee, and doesn’t ask for special payment terms
Perhaps most importantly… Has a growth mindset where real results matter more than appearances
What should my expectations be?
It should be noted that, as a business advisory, Vectorscape cannot solve every possible problem that exists nor guarantee 5 – 10x revenue in every instance.
The purpose of the Executive Call is for us to see if constraint signals are present, and whether 5 – 10x revenue potential exists. If potential is unclear or if structural change feels uncomfortable, engagement will not proceed.
If a higher degree of certainty is important to you, it is possible to get a more thorough assessment of the program’s potential for your business with the paid, 90-minute Executive Assessment. Here, early-stage research will make it possible to conclude whether 1) you don’t need us, 2) conditions are not aligned, or 3) a diagnostic is recommended.
No matter what, you can always expect an honest assessment of your organization from Vectorscape, which is made possible through our upfront payment terms.
Who will be working with us?
Marcus Strömberg is the program lead, responsible for client engagement and oversight. Depending on the organization and their specific restraints, Vectorscape may recruit experts within areas of marketing or commercial strategy. This will not affect the price of the program.
Do you have references we could contact?
This is perhaps the most difficult FAQ to answer. Many of Vectorscape’s past clients are high-profile companies across biotech, AI, and the European startup ecosystem that have benefitted from the NDAs Vectorscape offers. These companies cannot be disclosed for that reason.
If you are unsure about our ability to deliver results for your business, I invite you to book an Executive Call below. I am confident my assessment of your organization will speak for itself.
What are typical payment terms?
Every stage of the program is paid upfront and is non-refundable, for any reason, without exception.
The reason has to do with the quality of the service. These payment terms give Vectorscape the freedom to be completely transparent with you, not harboring any fear that you’ll be upset and withhold payment, and it helps us work with clients who are looking for this honesty in their advisors.
What qualifies clients for the third stage of the program?
Like other parts of the program, this is a decision made by both parties. During The Revenue Sequence, you will likely develop a sense of whether our support can benefit your company long term.
Similarly, we will see if there is enough potential to make a meaningful difference to your organization, and evaluate how we experienced our collaboration.
The most important thing is this: continuing beyond The Revenue Sequence is a joint decision, made with consideration to your budget, your goals, and our suggested plan of action.
If all of those align, we are good to go.
Is The Revenue Sequence right for every industry?
With as many industries as there are out there, it’s hard to give you a definitive “yes.” That being said, Vectorscape has advised high-profile companies in industries as diverse and complex as the life sciences, AI, eco-tech, construction, crypto, and more.
After working with enough sales teams, certain universal patterns become clear. It is unlikely we will see something entirely new in your organization, so we invite you contact us, no matter how unusual your industry may be.
I’m not ready to hire you yet. Are there any other options?
1) If you are interested in The Revenue Sequence, but want more certainty before moving forward with the full engagement, I invite you to consider an Executive Assessment. This is a paid, 90-minute alternative to the free Executive Call. This meeting gives me the opportunity to conduct preliminary research about your business and market. During the meeting, we will discuss your situation in detail, and you will gain clarity about: where the primary constraint likely sits, how much value is trapped, and whether structural redesign is justified.
2) If you're mainly interested in the topic of sales constraints, I run paid workshop programs with small groups of executives to explore specific constraint patterns. Topics can include: why revenue refuses to compound, diagnosing forecast failure, innovation systems that produce ROI, and structural causes of sales volatility. If you’re interested, reach out. I’ll put you on the waiting list to be notified of the next one.
3) If you're just interested in following my work, you may consider connecting with me on LinkedIn. You're very invited to do so!
Are you available for a role as an interim CEO?
Yes. In the past, some companies have preferred to work with me through an interim CEO contract, as this was the only way they could meet important short-term revenue targets. I am available for this role in the future, but if your goal is also connected to revenue, the process will look very similar to the one described on this page. The Revenue Sequence closely resembles the approach I take on short term contracts.
An introductory call will tell us if The Revenue Sequence if right for your business.
